Get Checking Annual Conference Summary

The purpose of our very first Get Checking Annual Conference is to both highlight the expansion, key achievements and national influence Get Checking has experienced this past year and more importantly, express tremendous gratitude to all our partners continually supporting and promoting Get Checking.

The conference agenda focuses around the importance of collaboration, strategic program alliances, and exchange of ideas to improve and build Get Checking nationwide. Partners will be introduced to the members of Get Checking’s Advisory Committee, a select group of program supporters sharing the same vision, desire and commitment to help the millions of un-banked in the U.S.

This event is a very exciting milestone for Get Checking. We hope you will join us to learn, share and celebrate one of the most successful and important financial literacy programs in the country.

Get Checking Awareness Luncheon Summary

This luncheon event is where national press, such as American Banker, will learn about Get Checking and why it is garnering the interest of so many in our industry.

Getting the press to ignite awareness with consumers, financial institutions, educational organizations, and government agencies about this excellent initiative providing the un-banked the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of mainstream financial services and get involved in markets that Get Checking is currently not offered is our objective.

Get Checking is helping has already helped over 8,900 consumers and gain access to mainstream financial services through focused education and a guaranteed deposit account upon course completion.

Congresswoman Gwen Moore, Advisory Committee Members, and key financial literacy and consumer advocates from the Federal Reserve, Internal Revenue Service, National Consumers League and more will be center stage to support and endorse Get Checking.
